Wow it has been ages since I last watched Tokyo Ravens. Was it any more interesting watching it this time round? Unfortunately, no it was not.

The main issue this episode was the Phase 3 spirit disaster that was threatening to endanger the lives of many at Onmyo Prep. In a rather surprising, though not at all unexpected, turn of events, Harutora saves the day. I say not at all unexpected, because from the get go and the many hints that were dropped along the way, it was pretty obvious that Harutora was housing some mystical super power within himself. And considering many ‘failures’ he has had, it is about time he stepped up and showed that he is at least of some use.

In other news, Natsume’s identity as a girl was revealed. And the whole school population was shocked to the core. Of course, none more shocked than Kyouko, who has harboured a crush on whom she believed to be Natsume for the better part of her life.

Now that Harutora is proving to be useful and Natsume has been exposed for the girl that she really is, there might be a shift in dynamics as well as the focus of the series. I would say that it will probably be interesting to find out just how the series pans out, but I really don’t think I am all that interested at all. Ohwells, just got to power through this one. At least Terashima Takuma’s character was somewhat of a treat to watch this episode. But he is gone now, so… *hopes Yusa’s character appears next episode*
